Solar Observing with Bob Mizon MBE
Sunday 31st October 2021 from 10:00am to 12:00pm
Marlborough Recreation Ground
Salisbury Road, Marlborough, Wiltshire, SN8 4AE
If weather permits, Bob Mizon will be showing images of the Sun through a telescope, using a safe projection method.
If cloudy, there will be a talk indoors about the Sun, its past, present and future, and how everything that happens on Earth ultimately depends on it.
Did you know that your existence depends on hydrogen being cooked into helium!?
This event takes place as part of the Marlborough Dark Skies Fest 2021.
