See the partial solar eclipse from Calton Hill
Saturday 29th March 2025 from 10:00am to 12:30pm
Edinburgh Playfair Observatory
Calton Hill, Edinburgh, Midlothian, EH7 5AA
Join astronomers from The Astronomical Society of Edinburgh to witness the partial eclipse of the Sun.
Not a great forecast but we will be on Calton Hill at the old City Observatory with telescopes for the public to look through plus eclipse glasses to give away. Looks like there “may” be a little Sun at the start of the event but you can look through our telescopes at the hills / Castle / Arthur’s Seat anyway.
Please note that this has already taken place on 29/03/2025
