Observing the wonders of the autumn sky (residential course)

This year the Society for Popular Astronomy’s weekend course covers observing the range of objects in this autumn’s sky, both visually and using imaging techniques. Saturn, Uranus and Neptune will be in the sky, with the Moon just after new and not visible, and we’ll have a wide range of deep-sky objects on show.
The speakers will be Alan Clitherow, SPA Planetary Section director, Martin Lewis, award-winning planetary photographer, and Robin Scagell, SPA Vice President.
The course will be aimed at both beginners and those with some experience, and will cover observation, recording and imaging of planets and the wide range of deep-sky objects that will be on display this autumn.
