Stargazing festival by North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
The North Pennines Stargazing Festival is back for 2022! The festival celebrates the incredible starry skies above the region and includes a range of events taking place across the region, from practical stargazing and astrophotography to experiencing nature and nocturnal wildlife — there is something for everyone!
A centre-piece of this year’s festival is a Galaxy Trail from Bowlees Visitor Centre, where walkers who complete the self-guided trail can win a space-themed prize!
