Mills Observatory is hosting a special one-off evening event, Summer Stars at Mills Observatory, ahead of its winter season reopening on 1st October. Weather permitting, visitors will have the chance to view Saturn, Neptune, and the Summer Triangle, with optimal viewing expected after 10pm.
If the skies are cloudy, the evening will continue indoors with talks about the summer night sky led by an amateur astronomer.
The event offers a welcoming experience for both seasoned stargazers and newcomers, providing a magical way to enjoy a late summer evening under the stars. Attendance is free of charge, with no prior booking required.
