Milky Way Magic: A Night of Stargazing in Tomintoul

Would you like to learn more about the night sky? Join us for a memorable evening in Britain’s most northerly Dark Sky Park. October is one of the best times of year to view the Milky Way, with darker evenings and clearer skies offering ideal conditions for stargazing.
We will begin at the Tomintoul & Glenlivet Discovery Centre with hot drinks and a short introductory presentation to help you get the most out of your night sky experience.
Then, we’ll take a short night walk down to the SkyHide – a purpose-built stargazing shelter – where you’ll have the chance to view the stunning Milky Way, spot constellations, and maybe even catch a shooting star or two.
