Mid Wales Astronomy Society / Cymdeithas Seryddiaeth Canolbarth Cymru are having an Open Day at Maldwyn Leisure Centre with a variety of attractions including a planetarium, astronomy equipment suppliers, solar observing if the skies are clear, and the chance for children to make their own “puff powered” rockets with logos on the fins. This will be followed by an evening talk on “Exoplanets and Stars Around Other Stars, and how to find them” at nearby Plas Dolerw. Entrance is FREE!
