Mid-Kent Astronomical Society meeting and observing

Mid-Kent Astronomical Society meeting and observing

Friday 24th June 2022 from 20:00pm to 22:00pm

Bredhurst Village Hall
Hurstwood Road, Bredhurst, Kent, ME7 3JZ

Join the friendly and welcoming members of the Mid-Kent Astronomical Society for this regular meeting at Bredhurst Village Hall.

These sessions are open to non-members. All ages and levels of expertise are welcome, including complete beginners. There is a small entrance fee for each meeting to cover costs for tea and coffee.

Tonight, the Society will be hosting Prof David Southwood CBE and his presentation The Trials, Tribulations and Triumphs of Mars Exploration.

Following the presentation, there will be a chance to talk with other MKAS members and then an observing session in the field behind the hall (weather permitting) and a telescope workshop in the hall, so if you have problems with your telescope, bring it along!

Please note that this has already taken place on 24/06/2022
