Messier Marathon with Fordingbridge Astronomers
Saturday 30th March 2024 from 19:00pm to Sunday 31st March 2024 06:00am
Abbots Well Car Park
Frogham, Fordingbridge, Hampshire, SP6 2QJ, South East England
From the dark New Forest, the Fordingbridge Astronomers will attempt to view and image as many of Charles Messier’s list of 110 nebulae and clusters as possible.
Their last attempt, we managed 100 objects, which was very good. Can we do more this time? This is an event open to all members, especially new joiners and novices. If you are interested in joining the group for this session you would be very welcome!
Please bring along at least one good eye, your telescopes, binoculars and cameras, as well as warm clothing, hot drinks and something to eat. It’s a long but very satisfying night to be an astronomer!
Please note that this has already taken place on 30/03/2024
