Lunar eclipse viewing from Hengistbury Head
Sunday 7th September 2025 from 19:00pm to 21:00pm
Hengistbury Head Visitor Centre
Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH6 4EN, South West
Join Sky High Astronomy for a lunar eclipse, where the Full Moon enters Earth’s shadow, and appears to change colour, often going a deep brown-red. Unlike eclipses of the Sun, lunar eclipses can be viewed safely with the naked-eye, and we will be doing just that from the top of Hengistbury Head.
