Location description
This popular Country Park located on the outskirts of Exmoor International Dark Sky Reserve. It is an ideal stargazing location with toilets open 24/7. A small fee for parking applies which goes towards conservation aims, training volunteers and running family events. There is also a campsite which is open from March through to October each year. Designated as a Dark Sky Discovery Site this location is accessible by members of the public and are officially recognised as excellent places to stargaze. Such locations often have free overnight car parking, some have toilet facilities and most do not allow overnight camping.
