The University of Surrey Telescope is housed in an observatory on the university campus. The Astrophysics Research Group utilises the research-grade instrument to work on key problems, from the evolution of galaxies to dark matter and energy. A programme of term-time astronomy evenings offers public visits which must be booked in advance.
