Stirling Highland Hotel Observatory

Once a former High School, the Stirling Highland Hotel is home to a rooftop observatory that houses a historical and incredibly impressive reflecting telescope from 1889. Members of the Stirling Astronomical Society are its proud guardians and utilise the facility for their regular evening classes that run each year from October through March, which the public is welcome to attend. In addition, the Society offers regular observing opportunities at the observatory; please get in touch with them to arrange your visit.
