The Space Obs Lodge near San Pedro de Atacama is one of the most incredible stargazing destinations on Earth! And we can say that as we have stayed here!

With several comfortable and well-equipped lodges, the venue is ideally situated to explore the surrounding area. Attractions include Valle de la Luna, Valle de Marte, the nearby salt flats and the altiplano mountains.

It truly is an incredible destination, however, it is at night when stargazers are in for a real treat. The venue also serves as a destination for Astro-tourists and as such is home to numerous amazing telescopes, including a whopping 28″ Dobsonian reflecting telescope!

The location is also within easy travel distance from the control centre for the Atacama Large Millimetre Array (ALMA) which is free to visit (prior booking via ESO required).
