Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre and Observatory
Low Hauxley, Amble, Northumberland, NE65 0JR
This coastal nature reserve benefits significantly from being away from the bright city lights, with skies likely far better than light pollution maps suggest. Northumberland Astronomical Society hosts regular meetings in the Wildlife Discovery Centre and arranges observing sessions at their nearby observatory.
