Location description
Located on top of the Sackville Building of the University of Manchester the Godlee Observatory is home to the Manchester Astronomical Society. The Society meets most Thursday evenings and members of the public are welcome to attend a few meetings before considering joining the group. If you are interested in attending the observatory please contact the Society directly beforehand to arrange your visit. Private guided tours of the facility are also available.
