Escape the light-polluted skies of South Wales and enjoy a night of stargazing at this lovely little bay on the coast. This location is also often referred to as Southerndown beach taking its name from the nearby village.
There are excellent views of star-filled skies, particularly towards the South and South-West across the Bristol Channel. Take your camera along and capture the Milky Way in all its glory.
The location benefits local amenities (we are not sure if the toilets are open 24 hours), a large car park and a nice sandy beach. The nearby Dunraven Castle ruins and walled gardens well worth a visit too!
