Coast and Camplight provides luxury off-grid escapes in the beautiful North York Moors National Park. Although we are only about 3 miles from Whitby our camps are located in a peaceful dip away from the lights of the coast. Our camps are spread out from each other, ensuring peace and tranquillity, the only neighbours you’re likely to see are our resident barn owls. Each camp has a safari tent which sleeps up to four, with comfy beds, sofas, log burner and your own off-grid hot showers and composting loo. Outside there is a firepit to warm yourself and cook over as you enjoy the starry night skies.
Stay & gaze - this location benefits from dark skies, relatively low levels of light pollution, is astronomy friendly and suitable for stargazing breaks.
