Family Stargazing with Cosmic Wonders

Enjoy a fabulous evening of stargazing at the wonderful location of Danby Lodge National Park Centre with friendly astronomers from Cosmic Wonders.
These fun, informative and interactive sessions are designed for the whole family to enjoy as an introduction to stargazing and astronomy.
Learn about asterisms, hear stories of the constellations, learn how to navigate the night sky, how to identify objects, and more!
Your family stargazing session will include a presentation on the night sky, stargazing, and a space-themed craft activity for younger members!
The evening is split into two sessions: 5 pm to 7 pm, aimed at younger astronomers aged 4 to 8 years old, and 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm for those over eight years old.
