Family Dark Skies Celebrations at Ribblehead Viaduct

Jump aboard the Settle to Carlisle railway and stop off at Ribblehead Station for this family-friendly stargazing event, taking place in celebration of the Yorkshire Dales Dark Skies Festival 2022.
Astronomers from Go Stargazing will be on hand with their telescopes offering guided tours of the dark skies above. Local astrophotographer Pete Collins will also be present with a gallery of his incredible nighttime photos. Enjoy a short stroll to the stunning Ribblehead Viaduct and witness the fantastic dark skies above!
This event is free of charge, with no booking required, just your train tickets!
Trains from Carlise: depart Carlisle at 14:50, arrive at Ribblehead at 16:14, depart Ribblehead at 19:37, arrive Carlisle 20:57.
Trains from Leeds: depart Leeds 15:18, arrive at Ribblehead 16:37, depart Ribblehead 19:48, arrive Leeds 21:06.
