Exmoor National Park has designated Exford Bridge Tea Rooms to be a Dark Sky Discovery Hub, a centre for information and stargazing events, so to encourage visitors to enjoy the wonderful starry skies that the region has to offer.
The noticeboard at the tea rooms is kept updated with what you can look for on any particular night, including information regarding upcoming stargazing events, current meteor showers, the visible planets and where to find them, and the phase of the moon.
The venue hosts regular stargazing events that are run in partnership with the team from Wild About Exmoor. Events include a virtual planetarium show to guide you around the sky and the use of telescopes. You’ll enjoy a warm Exmoor welcome, a delicious meal and full use of the bar too!
