Bowland Dark Skies: After Dark Forest Discovery
Thursday 20th February 2025 from 17:30pm to 19:30pm
Gisburn Forest Hub
Gisburn Forest, Near Tosside, Lancashire, BB7
Lovely Gisburn Forest is one of Bowland’s Dark Sky Discovery Sites, so you’re welcome to visit once the sun has dipped but, if you’d prefer some company, why not join us on this after-dark guided walk?
We’ll be heading into the forest as dusk descends and, as our senses become attuned to the falling light levels, we’ll capture the sights, sounds and scents of the woodland in winter.
With time to stop for a hot drink, we’ll get to experience quiet time in this special place, before returning in the darkness.
A number of all-terrain wheelchairs will be available, offering a great chance to experience this location in an accessible way. (Please choose “All-terrain wheelchair ticket” option on booking.)
This event takes place as part of the Forest of Bowland Dark Skies Festival 2025.
Please note that this has already taken place on 20/02/2025
