Learn to capture the ever-changing beauty of the night sky in an introductory lecture and practical session at Jodrell Bank – an out of this world UNESCO site where researchers have been exploring the stars for 80 years!
Spend an evening exploring the fundamentals of astrophotography and discover new ways to use your camera. These sessions will provide vital tools and techniques to help you capture the cosmos, allowing every attendee to flourish.
Presented by astronomer, astrophotographer, and Jodrell Bank’s Head of Computing, Dr Anthony Holloway, these evenings make the perfect gift for the shutterbug in your life (even if that’s you!).
No previous knowledge is required to attend this session, but you will need to bring a DSLR or Compact System Camera with full manual controls and a tripod.
