Once a month, the Abingdon Astronomical Society holds an observing evening. These sessions only occur when weather permits observations and occur on a first clear night basis within the date range specified.

Members usually have several telescopes for you to look through. These events are a great opportunity if you’re looking to purchase a telescope or have never looked through one before. If you have a telescope, take it along!

These events are free, and no prior booking is required. However, we recommend contacting the Society to let them know if you plan to attend.
