The Astronomy Centre near Todmorden is open to the public every Saturday from 7:30 pm until late throughout the year. Join their friendly team of astronomers for a tour of the facility and explore the skies with various telescopes, including a huge 30″ aperture Dobsonian telescope and a 15″ refractor.
Observing using telescopes is weather permitting with talks and presentations taking place if the weather is cloudy or the skies are light.
No prior booking is required however you might like to contact the venue to confirm your visit. There is no formal charge for visitors, a small donation of a few pounds is welcome.
