Members of the public are welcome to join astronomers from the Derby & District Astronomical Society for monthly observing sessions (usually) on the second Saturday after the first of their monthly meetings (start time varies through the year), except for July and August when the observatory is closed for Summer. These sessions offer the opportunity to look through the Society’s telescopes. If you have a telescope you are welcome to bring it along. Note that anyone attending the observatory does so at their own risk.

Please download and complete this booking form, and email it as an attachment to the Outreach Officer, no later than 8:30 pm on the day before the session.
