Join the friendly astronomers from the Hampshire Astronomical Group on the second Friday of each month for their popular astronomy talks, open to both members and the general public. T
hese events are designed to be accessible and enjoyable for everyone—from complete beginners to those with a long-standing interest in the night sky.
Each month the group welcomes expert speakers from across the UK and around the world, covering a wide range of topics from astrophotography to cosmology.
Talks are pitched at a ‘middle of the road’ level to ensure they are engaging and understandable, regardless of your prior knowledge.
A small charge of £3.00 on the door helps cover expenses. No booking is required—just come along on the evening unless otherwise stated.
