Stargazing in National Parks

Explore the dark skies under the UK’s National Parks! A number of parks across the UK benefit from low levels of light pollution and have fabulous starry skies…

Protecting these natural assets is growing in importance. There are many ongoing initiatives across the parks to reduce light pollution so that they may be enjoyed by current and future generations to come.

Several parks have applied for and have been awarded official Dark Sky Reserve status.
