Wincham and Pickmere Astronomy Group

The mission of the Wincham and Pickmere Astronomy Group is simple: to bring the universe and all its wonder to everyday people.

The universe is unimaginably vast—so vast that many consider it beyond comprehension. Through the enthusiasm of both amateur and expert members, the group demonstrates that the cosmos is within reach, requiring only the most basic tools to begin exploring.

Regular meetings are held at Wincham Community Centre on the first Thursday of every month from 7pm to 9pm. These gatherings feature talks, demonstrations, and discussions of local astronomical events, led by members and guest speakers.

The group welcomes everyone from the Wincham, Pickmere, and Greater Northwich area. Admission is open to all, with free entry for children under 11.
