Formed in 2005, the Chipping Norton Amateur Astronomy Group are well established and enjoy a solid and enthusiastic group of members of all ages and abilities.

The group are keen on public outreach and regularly organise stargazing events at Rollright Stones.

The group is open to everyone with no requirements for equipment, prior knowledge or experience. All that is required is your enthusiasm and an interest in the Universe.

    The Chipping Norton Amateur Astronomy Group (CNAAG) welcomes anyone with a curiosity about the night sky, whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned stargazer.

    Occurring on the third Monday of each month (second Monday in December), meetings are open to all and don’t require any equipment, prior knowledge, or experience—just bring your enthusiasm and an interest in the Universe.

    With a friendly and supportive atmosphere, CNAAG offers a chance to learn more about astronomy, share ideas, and enjoy the wonders of the cosmos together.
