Wild About Dark Skies Festival returns for 2025!
Celebrate the beauty of our night skies with a packed programme of walks, talks, and activities throughout the year.
After the success of 2024, we’re back with new venues, fresh events, and plenty of opportunities for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re a first-time stargazer, a seasoned wildlife enthusiast, or simply curious about the wonders above, there will be something for you.
Our Autumn programme, led by dark skies experts, is specially timed to give you the best chance to experience the fabulous starry skies above the High Weald National Landscape (weather permitting!). Along the way, you’ll also discover the impact of light pollution and why protecting our dark skies matters.
These seasonal events will lead into a fun, family-focused Wild About Dark Skies Festival running from 18 September to 16 November 2025. Expect inspiring walks, fascinating talks, and hands-on activities for all ages—celebrating the High Weald’s magical night skies while raising awareness of how we can all help keep them dark.
