Milky Way, Star Clusters and Galaxies!

Join astronomer Richard Dark for a star party on a dark, moonless night, meaning more stars are visible and even the incredible Milky Way.

The odd shooting star may also make an appearance! Plus, we’ll use powerful telescopes to explore glittering star clusters and distant galaxies and view the planets Jupiter and Saturn.

The Star Hub at Sutton Bank provides a warm indoor space and a perfect viewing area. In addition, the North York Moors National Park is an international dark sky reserve because of its low levels of light pollution.

We advise you to wear sensible outdoor footwear and wrap up warm. Bring binoculars if you have them, although we will supply the telescopes!
