This welcoming ice cream parlour and tea room makes for a great venue for stargazing, both during the daytime (solar observing) and at night, with stargazing activities run in collaboration with Bishop Auckland Astronomical Society.

The Dairy Barn at High House Farm is a private location and is only accessible out of normal hours for stargazing by prior arrangement or when public events are scheduled.
