Monkton Combe Community Observatory
Monkton Senior School, Monkton Combe, Avon, BA2 7JE
Just 2 miles southeast from the centre of Bath as the crow flies, the observatory sits on the grounds of Monkton Combe School and is a short stroll from the Governor’s Field Car Park off Church Lane. The observatory sits within the Monkton Combe valley with easy access from Bath and the A36 Warminster Road. Public stargazing is organised by Bath Astronomers in collaboration with the school.
