Introduction to Astronomy Course by Huddersfield Astronomy Society

Beginners and novices with an interest in astronomy will love this 6-week course run by the Huddersfield Astronomy Society. No prior scientific knowledge is required, just a curiosity about the night sky.

The sessions occur at the Bowling Pavilion at Lockwood Park with the first session on Thursday, the 19th of October, repeating each Thursday.

Weather permitting, you’ll also enjoy stargazing sessions at their new observing site near the idyllic Castle Hill.
