Location description

Westleton Common is part of open coastal heath land with good visibility on all sides and excellent dark skies above. This location is frequented by members of DASH Astro Society who run public stargazing sessions here.


Dark sky discovery site

Designated Dark Sky Discovery Sites are locations accessible by members of the public and are officially recognised as excellent places to stargaze. They often have free overnight car parking, some have toilet facilities however rarely allow overnight camping.
