Stargazing in South West Scotland

Stargazing in South West Scotland is very special: Galloway Forest Park is a Dark Sky Park, designated by the International Dark-Sky Association, since 2009.

The skies here are rare and breathtaking, bejewelled with stars, planets and meteors. In addition, the vast area has a low population density, which is excellent news for those who love stargazing in pristine conditions.
