SIGMA's primary objectives include making astronomy accessible to individuals with varying levels of interest and expertise, catering to both highly skilled enthusiasts and those who may be completely unfamiliar with the subject.
The SIGMA community encompasses a broad spectrum of members, ranging from absolute beginners to individuals with extensive experience in diverse aspects of astronomy. Members are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and are eager to support others in unraveling the mysteries of the celestial realm.
The group's ongoing efforts focus on fostering diversity and ensuring our meetings remain engaging. Additionally, they regularly organise public observing sessions, where they extend invitations to the general public. During these sessions, attendees can join SIGMA members at our dark site, where they will receive guidance in exploring the wonders of the night sky.
