Description
Members of the public are invited to join astronomers from Worcester Astronomical Society for this one of their regular ad-hoc "fourth Thursday of the month" observing sessions that take place from September through to April.
The venue is the Scout Hut in Crown East just a short drive West out of Worcester City Centre. Bring along your telescope if you have one, if not don't worry the society will have their telescopes on hand for you to look through.
Note that these events are dependent on the weather so please do check with the event organiser's that the event is going ahead before setting off!
- Event will involve stargazing and observing the skies through telescopes weather permitting
- Event run by a local astronomical society often involving an in-depth presentation by a guest speaker often with observing afterwards if weather permits. Most societies welcome members of the public to join them sometimes for a small fee or donation.
