Spend a fascinating stargazing evening with astronomer Richard Darn under the dark skies of the new Star Hub at Sutton Bank National Park Centre. The moon is absent, which means the sparkling winter stars will be glittering at their best given clear weather.
You’ll use powerful telescopes to reveal some of the sky’s wonders and take a close look at majestic constellations like Gemini, Orion and Taurus. Plus, we’ll enjoy an interactive planetarium tour inside the warm Hub and get the chance to handle space rocks.
This event is suitable for adults and children over six years old and is perfect for novices, and goes ahead in all weather (unless conditions are hazardous). Warm refreshments are included in the ticket price.
