Wimbledon, London, London, SW19 4TG
On the weekend of 4th-6th March 2022, local astronomer William Hay be setting up telescopes and binoculars and training them on The Orion Nebula, Pleiades Star Cluster and Andromeda Galaxy. Come and see the wonders of what’s outside our solar system.
Even without a telescope, Orion The Warrior, his loyal hunting dog Sirius and his opponent Torus The Bull are great constellations to get to know. If you’re lucky, we might even tell you how three Harry Potter characters originated from the night sky.
Meet by Rushmere Pond on Wimbledon Common, London SW19 4TG. Parking is available on the adjacent roads and the 93 bus route is very near; alight at Wimbledon War Memorial.
