Wild About Dark Skies Free Community Event - Crowhurst

This FREE event in Crowhurst will allow you to learn all about the impact of light pollution on wildlife and humans and about the wonder of the stars.

‘Wildlife at Night’ with Dr John Feltwell. John is a chartered environmentalist and biologist who has written 43 books on why wildlife matters

‘Why reducing light pollution matters’ by Paul Gregory. Paul sits on the International Dark-Sky Association Technical Committee and is one of the founding directors of the IDA- UK Chapter.

‘D in the High Weald’, with East Sussex Astronomical Society. Learn about the ‘Don’t light me up’ project with local astronomer Doug Edworthy.

This event takes place as part of the Wild About Dark Skies Festival 2023.
