This FREE event in Burwash at the National Trust property Batemans will allow you to learn all about the impact of light pollution on wildlife and humans and the wonder of the stars.
Weather permitting, you can have a close-up view of the stars through the East Sussex Astronomical Society telescopes.

Bob Mizon, International Dark Skies – ‘Hidden stars’. Bob is best known in the scientific and environmental community as the coordinator of the British Astronomical Association’s Commission for Dark Skies and works with STEM.
Caroline Moore, wildlife and moth expert,- ‘The wildlife of the Dudwell Valley’.
Sandra Voss, Science Director of Observatory science centre, Herstmonceux – ‘The stars we can see with the naked eye or using binoculars.’
This event is part of the Wild About Dark Skies Festival 2023.
