Mexborough & Swinton Astronomical Society in association with RSPB Dearne Valley are running a special solar observing day offering an amazing opportunity to see our closest star the Sun as you may never have seen it before! Using special telescopes you’ll be able to see prominences and sun spots — a great event for the whole family! The event itself is free and will be held in the courtyard area however entrance fees to the reserve apply.

Event darkness
