Traversing the Winter Night Sky by Naked Eye
Tuesday 3rd December 2024 from 18:00pm to 20:00pm
Kelling Heath Holiday Park
Weybourne, Holt, Norfolk, NR25 7HW
Join us for a fascinating evening of stargazing where we will delve into the mysteries of our night sky.
Beginning in the Kelling village square we will walk through the heath to the Dark Skies Site. On route night explorer Jon Tyler will discuss humankind’s fascination with the cosmos and explain space time as well as giving practical tips on navigating night sky features.
During the course of the evening there will be the chance to see our solar system’s four brightest planets, the autumn triangle, the ‘lonely’ star and the rising winter constellations.
