Toothill Solar Observing Session

Weather permitting, the Solent Amateur Astronomers will open their Toothill Observatory for an afternoon of solar observing. Using special telescopes designed to observe the Sun safely, you’ll see solar prominences, flares and sunspots on the surface of our nearest star!
No prior booking is required to attend this event, and a suggested donation of £5 (children are free). This event is changeable due to the weather conditions, the observatory will not open if it’s cloudy or raining.
