Celebrate the North Pennines Stargazing Festival with astronomy, story telling, arts and crafts and wildlife trail. Suitable for all ages with facts, food and fun for everyone.
Embrace the autumnal night under the warmth and comfort of fire-lit yurts to hear stories, learn about astronomy, and local wildlife with our interactive trail.
Neill Sanders, from Go Stargazing, shares his expertise and enthusiasm for astronomy with interesting space facts, a laser-pen guided tour of the night and presents the opportunity for you to explore the secrets of the sky using high-tech telescopes. *Visibility is weather dependent.
Malcom Green uses his art of storytelling to create an immersive sense of connection and belonging. His stories take people deeply into the world so that they experience being a part of its elements, drawing on our inter-connectedness with all its wonder, mystery, grief and joy.
This event is part of the North Pennines Stargazing Festival 2024, which will run from October 25th to November 3rd, 2024. #NorthPennStarFest24 #NPennDarkSkies
