Professor Carole Haswell is the Head of Astronomy at The Open University. She grew up in Saltburn wanting to be an astronaut and still does!
Spend an evening enjoying indoor activities including moon rock and meteor handling and telescope demonstrations. Enjoy a talk and Q&A session on Carole’s fascinating career in Astronomy. Concluding with a stargazing and moonlight experience.
This event takes place as part of the National Parks Dark Sky Festival 2020 which runs from 14th February to 1st March.
