Stargazing & Planet Hunting at Winton Recreation Ground
Monday 28th November 2022 from 18:00pm to 19:00pm
Winton Recreation Ground
Fitzharris Avenue, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH9 1BX
Join the Parks Foundation for an hour of stargazing and planet hunting at Winton Recreation Ground.
Discover some of the science and myths behind the winter constellations, learn to find the north star, look through a telescope, and maybe see a few shooting stars. And, if you arrive a few minutes early, you might even spot the International Space Station overhead!
We recommend you keep warm by wearing lots of layers and thick-soled shoes and remember to bring hats, scarves and gloves as it can be quite chilly at the end of November.
The price includes a hot drink and mince pie! Donations are also welcome on the day. In the event of clouds or rain, the event will be cancelled.
Please note that this has already taken place on 28/11/2022
