Stargazing Night with the University of Surrey Telescope
Wednesday 19th March 2025 from 19:00pm to 21:00pm
University of Surrey Telescope
Scholars Walk, Guildford, Surrey, GU2 7TR, South East England
Enjoy an evening of stargazing at the University of Surrey with the welcoming members of the Astrophysics Research Group. These sessions are ideal for beginners and novices interested in astronomy who want to learn more.
Please note that the event starts at Lecture Theatre E with an interesting and informative introduction to the work being carried out by the group and then stargazing using their fabulous telescope.
This event goes ahead no matter the weather; if stargazing is not possible, there will be a tour of what can be seen in the night sky on clearer nights. Booking is required.
